A scale model of our Solar system

The starting point of your interplanetary journey is in front of the Fairmont le Manoir Richelieu, in La Malbaie, Québec, Canada. Indeed, along a superb 3 km easy hiking trail, you will encounter scale model of the Sun and planets installed on interpretation panels.

​

This model is 1 500 000 000 times smaller than the real Solar System. It has been introduced in 2009 in company of the famous astrophycisit Hubert Reeves during the UNESCO international year of astronomy.
